?If your business is located by the sea, you have probably seen similar scenes to this… It certainly looks like it has been through a few wars!
⛵The following work we carried out (for a client located close to the sea), we were greeted with the below isolator with various visual defects. Due to being located close to the sea, corrosion is a massive problem for electrical equipment located outside thanks to the salty seawater!
?Had this not been spotted by our inspectors then this would breach several regulations including (134.1.1) Enclosure not damaged/deteriorated during installation to impair safety. This was swiftly reported to the duty holder as unsatisfactory, with several none-compliances being associated with this one enclosure.
