This weeks’ find has been brought to you by Guardians very own fixed inspector, Dean Christie & Louis Papanicolaou who discovered this deadly distribution board whilst conducting a recent site inspection. 
As can be seen via the pictures below, this specific board was found with serious burns and a thermal reading of 280 degrees upon the removal of the cover. 
Thankfully for this client, Dean and Louis identified this major risk before any further deadly consequences could take place.
This was caused by a loose connection in the terminal and therefore prevented it from tripping the breaker. This wouldn’t have been spotted however without a thorough site inspection and further highlighting the importance of a thermographic survey!
