šµš»This weeksā discovery comes from Guardiansā Fixed Inspector, Kirsten Yates, who identified the following find whilst carrying out a full site inspection and test. The pictured wires were found with exposed, live copper at the terminations of the miniature circuit breaker!
ā ļøThankfully for Kirsten no harm was caused because of this, however this could have potentially resulted in an electric shock or arc flash to somebody working on the board who wasnāt aware of its presence.
šRegulation 416.2.1 also states that; āLive parts shall be inside enclosures or behind barriers providing at least the degree of protection IPXXB or IP2Xā.
