📘 Amendment 4 is due for release in April 2026, and it’s set to introduce some significant changes for electrical dutyholders across the board – with particularly big implications for the medical sector. Once published in April 2026, Amendment 4 can be used immediately, and the previous version (BS 7671:2018 + Amendments 2 & 3) will be withdrawn later in the year.
