😱Upon the opening of this distribution board, our inspector expected to find electrical wiring, instead, they found an unwelcome guest who had made themselves all too comfortable…
😂In the words of our inspector “You never quite know what you’re going to find during an electrical inspection… today’s surprise guest was a mouse inside the distribution board! Talk about a live wire with a tail, this little fella certainly wasn’t part of the original installation!”
⚠️Having foreign bodies hiding in your distribution boards create a serious fire risk resulting in possible long-term damage.
📜Guardian Inspectors swiftly removed the risk and were able to prevent a code 2 being issued under Regulation 522.4 – Presence of solid foreign bodies (AE) within the IET BS7671:2018.
