🔍As can be seen on the photo below, there is excessive heat damage on the L1 connection within the DB main switch after removal of the neutral cover.
📜Regulation 421.1.1 states that ‘Persons, livestock, and property shall be protected against harmful effects of heat or fire which may be generated or propagated in electrical installations’.
🔥 Finds like this are strong indicators of, Loose or high-resistance connections, Overloaded circuits & Failing components
If left unchecked, this type can also lead to the following:
❌ Nuisance tripping
❌ Equipment damage
❌ Arc faults
❌ Fire risk
