?As can be seen on the photo below, there is excessive heat damage on the L1 connection within the DB main switch after removal of the neutral cover.
?Regulation 421.1.1 states that ‘Persons, livestock, and property shall be protected against harmful effects of heat or fire which may be generated or propagated in electrical installations’.
? Finds like this are strong indicators of, Loose or high-resistance connections, Overloaded circuits & Failing components
If left unchecked, this type can also lead to the following:
❌ Nuisance tripping
❌ Equipment damage
❌ Arc faults
❌ Fire risk
